Your invoices
Every invoice you download is listed here, on this device only. Mark payments by hand, or load the payment file from your e-banking and Scanbill ticks them off for you.
No invoices yet. They appear here after your first download. Moving from another computer? Load your backup file.
camt.054 or camt.053 from your e-banking (XML or ZIP)
How do I get this file?
In your e-banking, look for a data export or file download (often called “data transfer”, “download account data” or “export”) and choose camt.054 or camt.053 in XML format (ISO 20022). Some banks, such as UBS or ZKB, switch on camt.054 when you ask your adviser. A CSV or PDF export won’t work; if your bank only offers those, mark payments by hand.
Built for how Switzerland pays.
We looked at the free generators from banks and invoicing apps and kept what works: no sign-up, the full invoice and not only the slip, and data that stays on your device. Then we added what most leave out.
Add the slip to your own invoice
Keep the invoice you write in Word, Excel or Pages. Scanbill adds a correct QR slip at the bottom of the last page or on an extra page, and your file never leaves your device.
Knows which invoices are paid
Every invoice you send is listed with its due date. Load your bank’s payment file (camt.054) and paid invoices are ticked off automatically, partial payments included.
The right reference, automatically
Enter a QR-IBAN and you get a valid 27-digit QR reference. Enter a normal IBAN and you get an RF creditor reference. Both come from your invoice number, so payments match invoices on their own.
Swiss VAT, checked
Per-line rates of 8.1, 3.8 or 2.6 %, totals per rate, optional rounding to 5 centimes, and a checksum test on your UID before it reaches a customer.
On your phone, even offline
Send the PDF straight to WhatsApp or Mail, install Scanbill as an app, and keep invoicing without internet.

Questions
Do I need a QR-IBAN?
No. A normal IBAN works with an RF creditor reference or without a reference. A QR-IBAN, which your bank provides, is only needed for the 27-digit QR reference. Scanbill picks the matching reference type for you.
Will my bank accept these invoices?
The QR code follows the SIX Implementation Guidelines for the QR-bill, version 2.3, with structured addresses as required since 22 November 2025. Version 2.4, valid from 14 November 2026, brings no technical change for CHF invoices. Before you send your first invoices, scan one with your own banking app.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser only. The invoice and the PDF are created on your device and nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data removes saved details and customers.
Can I create a slip without an amount, for donations?
Yes. Switch to “QR slip only” and leave the amount empty. The slip then shows blank fields with corner marks where the payer writes the amount and, if you leave the customer empty, their name and address.
I already write invoices in Word. Can I just add the QR slip?
Yes. Choose “Add to my PDF”, pick your invoice saved as PDF and enter the amount. Scanbill puts the QR slip at the bottom of the last page, or on an extra page if that space is taken. Your PDF is not uploaded.
