Add the QR payment part to your own invoice
You write invoices in Word, Excel, Pages or an industry app and want to keep it that way? Then all that’s missing is the QR payment part. Scanbill adds it to your PDF, at the bottom of the last page or on an extra page.

What you need
- Your invoice as a PDF. In Word choose File › Save As › PDF; Excel and Pages work the same way.
- Your IBAN or QR-IBAN and your address, as your bank has them.
- The invoice amount and number.
Free, no sign-up. Your data stays in your browser.
Leave room for the payment part
The QR payment part is 105 mm high and belongs at the bottom of an A4 page. In your template, keep the bottom 11 cm of the last page free, for example with a large bottom margin or a few empty lines at the end. A footer with an address or page number has to move out of that space too.
If the space is taken, Scanbill puts the payment part on an extra page at the end. That’s allowed as well.
Your PDF stays with you
Scanbill processes the file directly in your browser. The PDF is not uploaded or stored anywhere. Password-protected PDFs can’t be changed; save the invoice without protection in that case.
How it works
- Open the generator. “Add to my PDF” is already selected.
- Enter your details and IBAN and, if you like, the customer’s address.
- Choose your invoice PDF or drop it on the field.
- Enter the invoice number and amount.
- Check the preview and download the PDF with the QR payment part.
Free, no sign-up. Your data stays in your browser.
Common questions
Do I have to change my Word template?
No. If there’s no room at the bottom of the last page, the payment part goes on its own page. Keep the bottom 11 cm free and it all fits on one page.
Does Scanbill read the amount from my PDF?
No. You enter the amount and invoice number yourself, so the QR code is sure to hold the right amount.
Does it work with PDFs from Excel, Pages or invoicing software?
Yes, with any normal PDF. Only password-protected files can’t be changed.
