Create many payment slips at once from Excel

For membership fees, rent or a donation appeal you don’t have to make every slip by hand. Paste your list from Excel and get one PDF with a QR payment slip per person, with a short letter above it if you like.

Updated October 2026

How your list should look

  • One row per person, member or tenant.
  • The columns Name, Street, No., Postcode, Town, Amount and Message, in this order or with these titles in the first row.
  • Street and house number may also share one column, such as “Seeweg 5”.
  • Amount and message may be empty: without an amount you get a donation slip, and the message from the form applies to everyone.

With a short letter or without

Without a letter, each page has just the QR payment part at the bottom, handy if you enclose your own letter.

With a letter, each slip has your sender details above it, the person’s address for a window envelope, the date, a subject, your text and the amount. Write {name} in the text and it becomes each person’s name.

Afterwards: see who has paid

Every slip gets its own payment reference and shows up with its amount under “Your invoices”. Later, load your bank’s payment file (camt.054) and Scanbill ticks off the fees that have been paid.

How it works

  1. Open the generator. “QR slip only” is already selected.
  2. Enter your name, address and IBAN under your details.
  3. If needed, download the template and fill it in with Excel.
  4. Copy the rows from Excel and paste them under “Many slips from a list”, or choose the CSV file.
  5. Check the summary and, if you like, tick “Add a short letter above each slip”.
  6. Download the PDF and print or send it.

Common questions

How many slips at once?

Up to 500 per PDF. Split longer lists into several runs.

Is my member data uploaded?

No. The list is processed only in your browser and is not stored or sent anywhere.

My Excel file isn’t read properly. What now?

Save the list in Excel as “CSV UTF-8”, or copy the rows straight from the sheet. Scanbill lists rows with a missing postcode or town and says why.

Does it work with a QR-IBAN?

Yes. With a QR-IBAN each slip gets a 27-digit QR reference, with a normal IBAN an RF reference.
