Fill in a Swiss payment slip online and print it

Since October 2022 the orange and red payment slips are no longer accepted. They were replaced by the QR payment part, often just called the QR slip. You can fill it in online and print it yourself, with a fixed amount or blank for donations and fees.

Updated October 2026

What changed from the old payment slip

Instead of the coding line at the bottom, the QR slip carries a Swiss QR Code. It holds your IBAN, your address, the amount and the reference. The payer scans it with their banking app and doesn’t have to type anything.

You no longer order slips from the bank. You make them yourself, for example with Scanbill, and print them on plain A4 paper or send them as PDF.

What you need

  • Your IBAN or QR-IBAN (an account in Switzerland or Liechtenstein).
  • Your name and address, as your bank has them.
  • The amount, or nothing if the slip should stay blank.
  • If you like, the payer’s address and a message, such as “Membership 2027”.

A blank slip for donations and fees

Simply leave the amount and the payer empty. The slip then shows framed boxes to fill in by hand. Anyone paying by app scans the code and types in the amount.

You can print such a slip as often as you like and add it to a letter, a flyer or a club mailing.

Printing: what to watch

Print at actual size (100 %, not “fit to page”) so the QR code stays 46 mm wide. Black and white is fine.

For paper invoices, the guidelines ask for a perforation between the invoice and the payment part. If you send a PDF by email, a dashed line with a scissors symbol is enough.

How it works

  1. Open the generator. “QR slip only” is already selected.
  2. Enter your name, address and IBAN.
  3. Enter the amount, or leave it empty for a blank slip.
  4. If needed, add the payer and a message.
  5. Download the PDF and print it at actual size.

Common questions

Does the orange payment slip still exist?

No. Since 1 October 2022, banks and the Swiss Post no longer accept the orange and red slips. Only the QR-bill with its QR payment part is valid.

Can I make a blank QR slip?

Yes. Leave the amount and the payer empty. The slip then shows boxes to fill in by hand, and in the app the payer types in the amount.

Can a QR slip be paid at the post office?

Yes. A printed QR slip can be paid at a post office counter, scanned with a banking app or sent to the bank with a payment order.

Can I make many slips at once?

Yes. Choose “QR slip only” and paste rows from Excel under “Many slips from a list”, or choose a CSV file. You get one PDF with a slip per member, tenant or donor.

Do I need a special account?

No. A normal IBAN is enough. You only need a QR-IBAN for the 27-digit QR reference.
