QR-bills for clubs and associations

Membership fees, event entry fees or the contribution to a club camp: with a QR payment slip your members pay in seconds with their banking app, and your statement shows who has paid.

Updated October 2026

What the club needs

  • A club account with an IBAN. A QR-IBAN isn’t necessary.
  • The club’s name and address, as the bank has them.
  • Optionally the members’ names and addresses, if each slip should be addressed personally.

One slip for everyone, or one per member?

The simplest is one QR slip without payer details. Every member scans it with their banking app. Leave the amount open and each member enters it. This suits an email or the club newsletter.

Personal slips with a fixed amount are clearer, because every payment belongs to one member. Save members in Scanbill as customers, or make all slips at once from your member list.

Matching payments

Under “Message to the payer”, write something like “Annual fee 2027, member 042”. The message appears with the payment in e-banking and on your statement, so the treasurer sees at once who has paid.

How it works

  1. Open the generator. “QR slip only” is already selected.
  2. Enter the club’s name, address and IBAN.
  3. Enter the fee, or leave it empty so each member enters the amount.
  4. If needed, enter the member’s name and address.
  5. Download the PDF and email or print it.

Common questions

Is Scanbill free for clubs?

Yes. Creating QR slips and downloading them as PDF is free, with no sign-up.

Does the club need a QR-IBAN?

No. The club account’s normal IBAN is enough. You only need a QR-IBAN if your accounting software should book payments automatically by the 27-digit QR reference.

Do the red and orange payment slips still exist?

No. Since 1 October 2022 Swiss banks and the Swiss Post process only QR-bills.
